Photographing-Ohio > One of my pre-flight poses
Photographing-Ohio > At this point, after I got to my feet, I was still processing the fact that I just got done jumping out of an airplane, 12,000 feet in the air.
Photographing-Ohio > Walking from the landing area, smiling because I lived to tell about it. lol
Photographing-Ohio > My Tandem partner just let me know I was unhooked from his harness. I told him that I could not move my legs. We both laughed. lol
Photographing-Ohio > I was anticipating somewhat of a hard landing. As shown in this photo, we land on our @sses and slide to a stop.
Photographing-Ohio > Now we began descending towards the landing area. At this point, Tom loosens my harness and I actually drop down a couple inches in my harness. This allowed me to be able to grab the straps of my harness that were around my legs/groin area and slide them down under my thighs towards the back of my knees. This required me to bend my knees, lift my legs up one by one, and AGGRESSIVELY pull the straps down towards my knees. I almost could not get the straps to move. If I could not get the straps to move then I would not of been able to lift my legs and slide to a stop on the ground.
Photographing-Ohio > Here we are as we just got over the landing area.
Photographing-Ohio > Being that Tom was controlling the parachute, I obviously had no idea when we were turning etc. This did cause my stomach to get a little upset. With a breathing technique that Tom suggested, I was able to over come the upset stomach.
Photographing-Ohio > Tom letting me know it's "game time."
